FTS takes the tamil language and culture to the next generation in America!



The school’s primary activities revolve around our weekly classes, which are held on Fridays from 7:00-8:30 PM following Frederick County Public Schools (FCPS) calendar year (September through June).

In addition, our volunteers also organize and promote activities and events that provide the students with a forum to demonstrate and apply their in-class learning.

Please refer to the calendar section for class locations and upcoming events. Frederick Tamil School – operates on the FTS calendar. Any change in school operating status will be posted on our website and will be notified via Remind (SMS to your mobile phone).
